Thomas Röthel

b. 1969​

Thomas Röthel was born in Ansbach, Germany in 1969. After training as a wood sculptor at State Vocational School for Wood Sculpture in Bischofsheim from 1986 to 1989, Röthel studied under renowned architect Johannes P. Hölzinger at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg from 1992 to 1998. Since 1998, he has been living and working freelance in Oberdachstetten, Germany.
Röthel’s works have been exhibited since 2004 in various reputed galleries and museums in Germany and Switzerland, including Galerie Bernd Bentler, bromer kunst, and, most recently, Altes Pumpwerk, Mannheim-Neckarau.
