The Law Reviews publishes hardback books every year that elaborate on different sectors of the legal world. Their areas of expertise include environment and climate change law, corporate law, intellectual property law, and many more, including, of course, art law. For each book, experts in their fields are consulted to speak about important topics within said field. As legal work becomes increasingly international, The Law Reviews’ goal is to, “create accessible insights into the practice of different areas of law in the most significant jurisdictions around the world.” The Law Reviews’ publications offer legal practitioners, as well as anyone interested in law, insight into key procedural and substantive issues along with popular topics in each field of law and provides analysis of important cases. Furthermore, each book contains an editorial specific to the respective field, written by an internationally renowned lawyer. The Law Reviews is donating its very first edition of The Art Law Review. Published for the very first time in January 2021, this book is the one of the newest and best resources for anyone who is interested in learning more about art law. The editor’s preface is written by Lawrence M. Kaye and Howard N. Spiegler from the New York law firm Herrick Feinstein LLP, and chapters within the book feature insight on topics such as cultural property disputes, art and technology in the twenty-first century. The Center for Art Law’s very own Irina Tarsis contributed a chapter on the moral rights of the artist! Jurisdictions include Australia, Brazil, Japan, India, and many more. The Art Law Review is a truly international, current, and comprehensive resource on all of the fascinating topics that surround art law.
