Description
All current work Salmagundi lots are professionally framed. This Auction is for a Commissioned work by the artist, Edmond Rochat. Mr. Rochat will paint a 10 x 8 portrait of you or your loved one. For this commission: (1) - Location of the work needs to be in New York City. (2) - Winning Bidder required to submit a photograph for the artist to use as a reference. (3) -The artist will need substantial time in order to complete work. (4) - Upon completion, the winning bidder may pick up the work at 47 Fifth Avenue or arrange shipping. About the Artist: Edmond Rochat studied drawing, painting, and sculpture at The Art Students League of New York, duCret School of Art, and Janus Collaborative School of Art, supplementing his studies as a lab assistant for advanced artistic anatomy. He was awarded a grant from the John F. and Anne Lee Stacey Scholarship Fund, which he used to study Greek and Renaissance sculpture at the Slater Memorial Museum. Edmond's works have been shown in Persimmon Hill Journal and in "The Visual Language of Drawing: Lessons on the Art of Seeing".
