About this Lot
Description
Two Chinese Porcelain Ginger Jars, 19th century - early 20th century. One yellow ground ginger jar with butterfly and blossoming peach branches. Offered with taller porcelain ginger jar shape vessel of brightly enameled butterfly and fruit. The bottom has a Tongzhi (1862-1874) six character seal stamp, but of the later 20th century Dimensions::7 1/2" x 8" diameter and 11" x 8" diameter Property from the estate of prominent Author, Gail Sheehy whose best known work 'Passages' was named one of the ten most influential books of our times by Library of Congress.
