Joseph Rondina was an internationally renowned antiques dealer who built a distinguished private collection of antique furniture, objet d'art, fine art, and Asian art. Capsule Auctions is pleased to present this collection, which reflects Rondina's impeccable taste and discriminating eye. The sale includes furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries, sought-after fine art, as well as antique objects from Asia and around the world. The catalog will be published soon and collectors will be impressed  by the scope and quality of the pieces on offer.

According to Mr. Rondina’s records, this bronze figure was authenticated by Dr. Yvonne Hackenbroch, former curator at the British Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as the work of Giambologna (Italian, 1529-1608).
