Litchfield Auctions was founded by Weston Thorn in the historic and vibrant town of Litchfield, Connecticut and has since been settling estates and selling premiere art and antiques for over 25 years. Weston’s son Nick became president in 2005. He partnered with Simon Baranoff in 2017 to create Capsule Auctions in New York City, adding a new flagship location — and together they began to reimagine how a modern auction house could serve the needs of their clients.
