A Venetian Chinoiserie style sofa featuring an upholstered undulating crescent-shaped backrest over a wood frame painted in a distressed cream hue with parcel-gilt accents, the curved seat apron decorated with a continuous carved scallop ball fringe motif and raised upon eight square tapering legs terminating in original brass caster wheels

Fair overall antique condition; extensive wear, heavy staining, and minor fraying to the velvet textile upholstery across the seat and backrest, with scattered paint flaking, craquelure, and structurally stable surface wood checks to the parcel-gilt and painted finish of the legs and apron
