Description
A mid-19th century Victorian British sterling silver three-piece tea service, comprising a globular teapot featuring a hinged domed lid surmounted by a cast blossom finial alongside an insulated scroll-form handle, a matching open sugar basin configured with twin handles, and a coordinated milk jug, each vessel heavily decorated with high-relief repoussé panels detailing prominent scrollwork cartouches, stylized acanthus foliage, and floral bouquet clusters raised upon cast scroll-form feet, bearing a matching set of official British national assay hallmarks including a date letter punch tracking an active manufacturing date of 1854 with an aggregate total weight of approximately 816 grams
