A bronze sculpture by Alejandro Velasco depicting a female figure with an elongated neck and a sunburst headdress riding a male lion while holding a lyre. It is finished with an applied black patina and is fastened directly to a rectangular bronze plinth. The piece is signed "Velasco", dated "2026", and numbered "1/36" in the cast on the rear left flank of the lion. The piece measures 20 x 17 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches.

Very good overall condition. There is some minor surface oxidation, light wear to the black finish on the raised edges from handling, and faint scuffing on the bottom of the plinth
