Description
American Ship's Pennant Flag, possibly late 19th C., 13 stars of hand sewn linen on possibly wool bunting, hand written '10ft & Bridgman (?)' on hoist. Note: Bridgman was the name of the yacht on which this pennant flew. Owned by George & Isabel Griswold of Norfolk & Greenwich, CT, and received as a gift from their parents Mr. & Mrs. Henry H. Bridgman. Dimensions: 114" L x 10" wide Property from the Litchfield Estate of Tracy H. Griswold (TGLI8382)(WT)
