Description
An American Federal cherry and tiger maple chest of drawers of rectangular form, featuring four graduated, beaded-edge drawers with hand-cut dovetails and stamped brass backplates with drop-handle pulls, the case flanked by ring-turned and fluted pilasters continuing to conforming turned legs, the whole finished with an undulating, scalloped apron.

Condition
The chest exhibits a uniform patina with scattered surface scratches, minor indentations, and localized finish wear consistent with use, alongside small losses to the drawer beading and a stable age crack to the left side panel, though no dendrochronological analysis of the wood has been conducted to confirm its precise age.
