Antique American Pine Corner Cabinet (Early 19th Century)
Description

An American Federal-style corner cabinet of two-part construction, the upper section featuring a dentil-molded cornice above a fretwork frieze and a pair of arched, glazed cupboard doors opening to red-painted shelves, the lower section with two paneled doors flanked by fluted pilasters and beaded moldings, the whole raised on a plinth base with an undulating apron. The cabinet exhibits hand-cut joinery and a natural wax finish, bearing an aesthetic consistent with nineteenth-century vernacular furniture.
