An antique Caucasian Shirvan runner of rectangular form featuring a vertical arrangement of five interconnected octagonal medallions on an ivory field, with each medallion containing individual geometric panels and tribal motifs in shades of madder red, indigo blue, and ochre, the central field enclosed within a primary border of repeating serrated leaf elements and multiple narrow guard borders, bearing an aesthetic consistent with nineteenth-century regional production., measure 6 ft 10 in x 3 ft 2 in.
