Description
An antique miniature George III style chest of drawers, possibly an artisan's apprentice piece or traveling salesman's sample, constructed from mahogany featuring a rectangular top over a configuration of two short drawers and three long graduated drawers all constructed with hand-dovetailed joints, fitted with turned wooden pull knobs, and flanked by fluted pilasters, elevated on a molded base with a scalloped bracket apron and matching bracket feet, measuring 11 1/4 x 12 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches

Condition
Good overall condition; a vertical age-related structural expansion split is visible down the right-hand side panel, accompanied by minor superficial scuffs, localized surface abrasions, and typical light finish wear across the mahogany casework consistent with age
