An antique Persian Qashqai rug of rectangular form featuring a central indigo hexagonal medallion flanked by two ivory diamond medallions on a madder-red field densely populated with tribal motifs including stylized birds, animal figures, and geometric floral elements, all enclosed within a main border of repeating linked medallions and narrow guard borders and finished with original short wool fringes, the piece bearing an aesthetic consistent with 19th-century nomadic production, measures 8 ft 9 in x 5 ft 7 in.

The rug remains in overall stable condition, displaying generalized pile wear, localized areas of thinning, and minor fading to the natural dyes consistent with age and use, alongside some fraying to the overcast selvedges and minor losses to the end fringes, evidence of old repair, would benefit from a cleaning
