About this Lot
Description
A man's face, painted over an artist's palette. Image Size: 9" x 12" Bill Creevy spent most of his 50+ year career working in his Soho and Brooklyn studios. He was credited with sparking the resurgence of pastel as a viable, highly collectible medium via his best selling pastel book (in print since 1991). Always searching for new ways to use a variety of media and materials to get unique effects, he simplifies his imagery as a way of testing new methods.
