(Some very light overall toning, without the first and last 'advert' leaves). Brown Morocco by Zaehnsdorf, ruled in gilt, the upper cover with a central ‘LC’ monogram surmounted by an armorial grenade, gilt rule around edge of covers, spine in six compartments with raised bands, each bordered with single gilt rules, lettered in the second and fourth compartments, gilt turn-ins, patterned endpapers, top edge of bookblock gilt (spine slightly faded, light rubbing to extremities). Provenance: ‘LC’ binding; Ralph Eugene Crump (bookplate).
