Fulvio Bianconi

Italian 1915-1996

Fulvio Bianconi was a celebrated Italian designer and master of Murano glass, renowned for his imaginative and technically innovative creations. Trained in the Venetian tradition, Bianconi joined the prestigious Venini glassworks in the 1930s, where he developed a distinctive style that blended modernist design with the rich heritage of Venetian glassmaking. He is best known for his “Fazzoletto” vases, which feature fluid, sculptural forms and vibrant, playful colors, exemplifying his ability to transform functional objects into works of art.
