Description
A die-stamped sterling silver teapot in the minimalist "Puritan" pattern featuring a highly polished pear-shaped or ovoid body rising to a short flared rim with a conforming stepped, hinged lid surmounted by an urn-form finial, the vessel flanked by an elegant gooseneck pouring spout and a sweeping C-shaped composite insulated or "reinforced handle" with insulating rings, the lower underside struck with the Gorham Manufacturing Company lion-anchor-G hallmark system alongside the model stamp "451," a "2 3/4 PINT" capacity designation, and "REINFORCED HANDLE" text blocks
