Description
Group of Song Ceramics and Bronze Censor, Likely Song Dynasty (960-1279) and later Small Qingbai dish of delicate potting and light incised lotus in well. Clear glaze with some crackle and unglazed. Song style and likely of the period. Grey-green celadon Longquan style and likely of the Song period. Sloping to a narrow foot with incised floral petal decoration on the outside, 3" x 5 1/2" diameter. Small wide rimmed bowl of red clay body and dark celadon glaze. Song style and possibly of the period. Offered along with a Ming-style bronze censor with a Xuande (1426-1435) mark, but likely 19th-20th century. Dimensions::Censor 3" x 6" diameter. Bowl 1 1/4" x 4 1/2". Dish 3 1/2" diameter. Property from a former Asian Arts gallery in Manhattan, circa 1940; since passed down through multiple generations of the family.
