Inscribed by the author. in English and Japanese, Aisaboro Akiyama--"Author of "A brief history of pictorial Japan", "Pagodas in sunrise-land", "The Jidal festival", "Aoi festival", etc., etc." The inscription, to Paul Loring, is dated April 2, 1919.
