An original Japanese Edo period ukiyo-e woodblock print designed by Keisai Eisen, titled Oi River from a Tokaido road series, executed in polychrome woodcut inks on mulberry paper to depict travelers being carried across turbulent waters on rensendai litters and shoulders, mounted under a custom mat board and housed within a modern glazed wood frame

Good; prominent paper buckling and localized minor creasing throughout the visible print sheet surface, faint toning consistent with age, and minor scuffing to the exterior wood frame moldings
