The quilt exhibits generalized surface staining, localized areas of discoloration, and a few loose threads throughout that would benefit from a cleaning, with a non-original hanging sleeve added to one edge for display purposes, though no technical analysis of the textile fibers or dye stability has been conducted to confirm its precise origin or period of manufacture.
