About this Lot
Description
All current work Salmagundi lots are professionally framed. 100% of proceeds from the sale of this piece benefits Salmagundi. A piece that captures the contours of the snowy mountainous landscape and pine forest, above Bear Lake. Woodblock. Image Size: 22" x 14" x 0" Leon Loughridge was influenced by his grandmother's involvement in Northern New Mexico art circles, taking the opportunity to study under Taos and Santa Fe artists. He had a particular interest in studying intaglio techniques and etchings, frequently showing the Southwestern mountains in his prints. With his passion in printmaking, he currently owns a publishing company, producing reduction style woodblocks and limited-edition books.
