Note: Elias Jacob Herrick, born NY Sept 27, 1838-1915) married Margaret Louisa Post (c.1840-?) in New York on May 22, 1862. William (Post) Herrick was born in New York, June 21, 1870. Based on the note, the portrait of the woman could be Margaret Hicks, born c.1770 (and husband Josiah Herrick born c.1766) whose son was Elias Hicks Herrick (Elias Jacob Herrick's father) 1798-1857.
