The quilt exhibits generalized surface staining and age-related discoloration throughout that would benefit from a cleaning, alongside visible edge wear and a small tear at one margin, with a non-original hanging sleeve added to one edge for display purposes, though no technical analysis of the textile fibers or dye stability has been conducted to confirm its precise origin or period of manufacture.
