23x35 inches folded in a 5x8” mottled calf binding, tooled spine and titled no 181 although the map itself is numbered 135

Provenance: Copy from the library of the Polish writer Joseph Ignace Kraszewski (1812-1887) with his gold tooled coat of arms on the cover of the volume. Józef Ignacy Kraszewski is one of the most famous and prolific Polish authors of the 19th century. We owe him no less than 800 volumes of novels and other literary writings.

Provenance : Exemplaire provenant de la bibliothèque de l'écrivain polonais Joseph Ignace Kraszewski (1812-1887) avec ses armes dorées sur le plat du volume. Józef Ignacy Kraszewski est l'un des auteurs polonais les plus connus et les plus féconds du XIXe siècle. On ne lui doit pas moins de 800 volumes de romans et autres écrits littéraires.

An oddity as the binder retained the whole printed sheet even though most of it is blank. Great overall condition.
