Image Size: 15" x 11" Framed Size: 16.75" x 12.5" Robert Pearson Lawrence became a Salmagundi member in 1934. He studied the arts at Pratt Institute, the Art Students League, and in the Woodstock colony in the Catskills; his instructors consisted of artists Birge Harrison, Howard Pyle, and Henry Reuterdahl. Lawrence was an illustrator for magazines, including the old "Life Magazine" and "Women's Home Companion".
