Description
This Auction is NOT for the pictured work (which is posted as a sample). This Auction is for a Commissioned work by the artist, Roger Rossi. Mr. Rossi will paint a 16x20 portrait of your own personal garden - whether it be a stand alone garden or one that includes your abode. For this commission: (1) - If the winning bidder is not in the New York area, they will need to provide a photograph from which to work [2] New York City residents do not need to provide picture reference as the artist will visit to take a picture (3) -The artist will need substantial time in order to complete work. (4) - Upon completion, the winning bidder may pick up the work at 47 Fifth Avenue or arrange shipping. Image Size: 16" x 20" Roger Rossi has been an artist for most of his life. He studied with John A. Parks and Nancy Chunn at the School of Visual Arts. He is a member of the Salmagundi Art Committee at the prestigious Salmagundi Art Club and has participated in exhibitions hosted by the American Artists Professional League, Allied Artists of America, and the Oil Painters of America among others. He has always been drawn to the beauty of public gardens, magnificent castles and estates and is an avid plein air enthusiast.
