[W. NOTMAN, S. BOURNE and others (photographers)]. - J.W & D.B. SHEPP (editors). Shepp’s Photographs of the World. Philadelphia: Globe Bible Publishing Company, 1891. Oblong folio (8 ½ x 10 ½ inches; 216 x 267mm). Title printed in red and blue. 255 full-page halftone plates, after photographs by Samuel Bourne, William Notman and many others. Pictorial orange cloth, upper cover and spine elaborately blocked in brown and silver, decorated endpapers, marbled edges to bookblock (one signature partially detached, very lightly soiled). Excellent copy of a work ‘Sold by Subscription Only’.
