Description
An assembled 41-piece sterling silver flatware service by Wallace Silversmiths in the Stradivari pattern, designed by William S. Warren, comprising six teaspoons, eight large place forks, eight small salad forks, four round bowl soup spoons, nine dinner knives with hollow sterling handles and stainless steel blades, four hollow-handle butter spreaders, and two serving pieces, with all solid components stamped on the reverse with standard manufacturer hallmarks including the block capital "WALLACE" stamp, a left-facing stag head cartouche, and the definitive "STERLING" purity mark yielding a total weighable silver mass of 1081 grams exclusive of the nine dinner knives and four butter spreaders, all housed within a fitted dual-tiered wooden presentation box
