Cookie was a renowned artist, dancer, and business owner in New York City. A lifelong New Yorker, she began her successful and varied career in the arts as a professional dancer, appearing in the New York City World Fair, in the cast of A Chorus Line on Broadway and on their national tour, as well as in other theater and television productions. After retiring from her dance career, Cookie opened the custom frame shop CLV Art Services which she ran for nearly four decades, specializing in art works on paper and photographs, as well as canvas, posters, textiles, and unique objects, and providing consulting services to a range of clients including artists, gallerists, collectors, museums, and art consultants. In her retirement, Cookie was an avid volunteer in her community until she passed away in 2025.
