The Ugobonos are based in Puerto Rico and dedicated to the textile manufacturing business. Their collection, built over the last three decades, is currently under the direction of their daughter, Vanessa Ugobono, who has expanded it from solely Latin American art to include international contemporary art. Work from their collection has been featured in various exhibitions: Kuitca, Beatriz Milhazes, Bradford, etc.
